In the unexpected event that asbestos containing materials are present, removal of these materials may be required due to an intended renovation or from a risk point of view. Hofstede cs is able to take care of the complete process of inviting contractors to tender, monitoring and manage the removal of asbestos containing materials. We have extensive experience and expertise in project management. We invite contractors to tender for small or large projects. We invite contractors to meet at the premises and show and explain the situation. We assess and review tenders and advise the client in which contractor should be awarded the work. Additionally, we set out an action plan, we design a planning, we organise consultation rounds with residents and we are the main contact for Local Authorities. We apply for the permission to remove asbestos containing materials and other permits and exemptions at the Local Authority. We check the quality of the work during the removal works, keep an eye on the planning and prevent problems with a vigorous performance. We assign an independent (external) laboratory to undertake the visual inspections and measurements in order to prevent conflict of interest. Our consultants all have a constructional background and an eye for quality and costs. Following the removal works we present an evaluation report which reviews the works. This way the progress of the removal works and the results are well secured for the future.
